Welcome to the Florida chapter of the Distraction-Free Schools Policy Project.

Distraction-Free Schools Florida is a coalition of parents, educators, students, and community members across the state, united in calling for legislative action and policy changes to address the harmful effects of smartphones, social media, and “ed tech” in Florida's schools. Our all-volunteer state team is part of the national Distraction-Free Schools Policy Project, an initiative led by Becca Schmill Foundation and Smartphone Free Childhood U.S.
