Welcome to the Georgia State chapter of the Distraction-Free Schools Policy Project.

 

Who We Are: A group of parents, teachers, and community volunteers committed to restoring learning to the classroom by reducing school-based screentime.

What We Do: Advocate for three statewide pieces of legislation to make Georgia schools the places of learning they should be

The Distraction-Free Schools Policy Project is a joint initiative between the Becca Schmill Foundation and Smartphone Free Childhood US.

WE SUCCEEDED WITH PHONE-FREE SCHOOLS IN GEORGIA. NOW WE ARE URGING GEORGIA STATE LEGISLATORS TO ADOPT OUR SAFE SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY & SOCIAL MEDIA-FREE SCHOOLS MODEL BILLS.
